For your home
A home that works — and stays easy to live with.
Surveillance cameras are where MasterVizion starts, alongside distributed audio, networking, TV and antennas, and lighting automation that fit your home's look and your family's routine. One integrator who walks the property first and stays reachable when something needs attention.

Five systems, one integrator
Everything your home needs, from one team
The same five systems we build for every property — framed for the way a home actually gets used. Each is designed, installed, and stood behind by us; buy the hardware on its own if you'd rather.

Designed, not just installed
Discreet by design — because a camera doesn't have to shout to do its job
A camera on every corner still misses the shot if the angles don’t line up. We design coverage that overlaps at the doors, driveway, and yard approaches, then place each camera for the way your home actually looks — reading the driveway without dominating the porch.
Systems fail when they’re annoying to use, so we design around real routines: one tap for leaving, one for evening, an app the whole household can run. The technology fades into the background and the living part doesn’t.

What a typical home job looks like
Walkthrough first. Always.
No numbers over the phone. We see the space, put it on paper, and price it once — so the quote is built to your home, not guessed at.
A free walkthrough of the home
We walk the property with you, look at the approaches and the rooms you want covered, and take the measurements a real quote needs. Usually under an hour. No charge, no obligation.
A written scope and a fixed quote
You get the system on paper — camera count and placement, zones, drops, the gear we'd use and why — with a fixed price before you commit to anything.
A clean install, aimed on site
Cable is hidden, cameras are aimed and weatherproofed, displays go up square. Every camera is set on site — a camera pointed at a roofline records a lot of roofline.
Handover the household can run
We set up the app for live view and playback, walk you through it, and leave you with a system the whole house can actually use — and a number to call if it needs attention.
Common questions
Questions homeowners ask
How many cameras do I need?
It depends on the property and what you want to see, not a rule of thumb. Most homes land around four to eight to cover doors, driveway, and yard approaches with the overlap that actually catches an event. We map it at the walkthrough and tell you honestly where another camera earns its place.
Indoor or outdoor cameras — what's the difference?
Outdoor cameras are weather- and glare-rated to run through heat, rain, and a dark night; indoor cameras can be smaller and more discreet because they aren't fighting the elements. We pick per location rather than one model everywhere, so each camera suits where it sits.
How long is footage kept?
As long as the storage you choose allows. Retention trades off camera count, resolution, and drive size — we size the drive to the number of days you want to look back, and the oldest footage rolls off automatically once it's full.
Can I view the cameras on my phone?
Yes. Every system is set up with a mobile app so you can watch the live view and play back recorded footage from anywhere. We configure the remote access securely so your feed reaches you without leaving the recorder exposed.
Do the cameras record audio?
Some can, and whether that's appropriate depends on placement and Texas law on recording conversations. We set audio to match what's sensible and legal for each location, and talk it through at the walkthrough rather than leaving it on by default.
What internet do the cameras need?
Recording happens locally on the NVR or DVR and keeps working even if your internet drops. Internet is only needed for remote viewing on your phone, and a normal home connection is plenty — the app streams on demand rather than uploading everything.
What's the difference between an NVR and a DVR?
An NVR records network (IP) cameras, usually powered over the same cable that carries the video. A DVR records HD analog cameras over coax, which makes it the natural upgrade when a building already has coax runs. They aren't interchangeable — every camera kit we sell pairs cameras with the recorder that actually records them.
Can I supply my own hardware and have you install it?
Happy to. Bring the cameras, recorder, speakers, or gear you already own — if it's standards-compatible and in good shape, we'll design around it and install it properly. We'll tell you plainly at the walkthrough if a specific piece is holding the system back, but there's no obligation to buy your hardware from us.
Can I buy hardware from you without installation?
Yes. Anything in the shop is real hardware you can buy and take delivery of on its own — a single camera, a recorder, a drive, a speaker, a full kit. Professional installation is an option you add only if you want it, never forced.
Can I install it myself?
Absolutely. Everything in the shop is yours to install. Each product page gives an honest read on how hard the self-install actually is, and where having us do it is worth it — usually hidden cable, overlapping camera coverage, or anything going inside walls.
Can I mix hardware I already own with new hardware from you?
Yes. A new recorder with the cameras you already have, or new speakers on your existing wiring, is a common job. We check compatibility at the walkthrough so the parts actually work together.
Do I have to buy installation to get a walkthrough?
No. Walkthroughs are free and carry no obligation, whether you end up buying hardware from us, bringing your own, or deciding not to go ahead.
If I add installation to an order, what am I charged?
Installation isn't charged today. Aji quotes it after a free walkthrough. Adding it is a request, not a purchase — you pay for the hardware at checkout and nothing for installation until you've approved Aji's quote.
What areas do you cover?
Installation is standard anywhere within 80 miles of the core Dallas–Fort Worth cities. Hardware ships to all 50 states and DC wherever you are.
Do you install more than 80 miles from DFW?
Yes, for jobs of 1,800 sq ft or more. Travel and accommodation are quoted per job, because they vary with the job — tell us the property size when you book and Aji will talk it through, even if you're under the minimum.
Can my order be delivered with the installation?
Within 80 miles of Dallas–Fort Worth, yes — add installation and the hardware can arrive with your technician, with no separate shipping charge. Further out, the hardware ships by carrier and installation is quoted as a separate job.
What happens after I order with installation requested?
You pay for the hardware only at checkout. Installation isn't charged today. Aji quotes it after a free walkthrough. Once we've seen the space you get the installation quote, and you pay for installation separately, only after you've approved it.
How long does a walkthrough take?
Usually under an hour for a home. We look at the space, talk through what you want it to do, and take the measurements a real quote needs. Bigger or multi-area jobs can run longer — we'll tell you what to expect when we book it.
How do I book a walkthrough?
Use the booking form — it takes a minute — or call (972) 654-6973. Walkthroughs are free.
