Overview
Where there is coax running to camera positions already, the cable is usually the most expensive thing on the building, and this kit is how you keep it. The recorder takes AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS; the cameras switch between the same four formats, so the pair are matched by design and the only thing that changes is what sits on each end of the cable. The recorder will also take IP cameras on spare capacity later, so choosing analog today does not close off network cameras tomorrow.
Do I need professional installation for this?
A kit is easier to self-install than a system designed from scratch, because the matching is already done. What is still worth paying for is upstream of the hardware: where each piece goes, cable pulled and terminated properly, and the result actually verified rather than assumed. Installation is an option you add, never forced. Installation isn't charged today. Aji quotes it after a free walkthrough.

What you'll also need
These are genuine requirements this kit does not contain — the parts whose size, length or specification depends on your building or your room. We would rather you read this now than discover it after delivery.
- Coax with a power conductor to each camera, or existing runs tested and confirmed good — we test the cable before we quote the job
- 12V power at each camera, or a multi-way supply back at the recorder. Unlike the network cameras, these do not draw power from the recorder, so every position needs power as well as video.
